About me
Hi, I’m Nayara. And I’m not here just to teach you how to speak Portuguese.
With a degree in Linguistics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, I have worked for over five years as a translator, proofreader, and Portuguese teacher for foreign learners.
My experience as a language professional and with volunteer exchange work has taught me that connecting with another culture goes far beyond learning words and rules. It means understanding different ways of thinking and expressing yourself. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students and clients from many countries, each with their own goals, experiences, and needs.
After leaving Rio de Janeiro and spending almost two years in London, I’m now based in Athens, Greece, learning Greek, exploring a new culture, and continuing to work with people from all over the world.
This combination of language experience, international life, and a thoughtful approach to communication is what I bring to every project, either by helping someone learn Brazilian Portuguese, adapting content for a specific audience, or making a digital experience clearer and more natural.
